Topic: Update on the school district's strategic plan and board goals & vision for the future.


Time: 6:30, cash bar followed by Dinner meeting at 7:00p.m.


Cost of dinner is $30.00

Wise Internship Program

On January 11, 2016

Phyllis Rothschild, Wise Program Coordinator at Eastchester High School spoke about internship program to the Chamber members.

The Chamber of Commerce is currently working with Eastchester High School to launch our first internship program which is tied to WISE program.

Companies who are willing to be the host for the interns must submit an application by March 2016. The internship program will run from around 5/17 to 6/17 for about a month.


Please follow below instruction to host an intern.


Fill out the WISE student sponsor agreement

A copy of your business card (or include actual business card if you are sending hard-copy mail by US Postal Service)

A brief description of what the intern will be doing for your organization & indicate on the note that you are Chamber member.

Feast of the Seven Dogfishes, Thursday, December 17, 2015, 7-10pm, Growlers Beer Bistro, 25 Main Street, Tuckahoe, NY 10707, 914-793-0608, Every Christmas Eve, Italians gather for the Feast of the Seven Fishes, a meal consisting of seven seafood courses, each one more savory and delicious than the one before. This December, Growlers Beer Bistro will host its fourth annual Feast of the Seven Dogfishes - an event that celebrates the holidays, craft beer and this Italian custom. In addition to offering seafood additions to its menu for one evening, Growlers will serve seven distinctive Dogfish Head beers on tap.

 Santa Stop in Eastchester Save the date for Special Christmas event with Santa December 6 (Sunday) from 2 to 4 pm at The Park Across from Town Hall in Eastchester. Enjoy a fun filled afternoon with Hot Chocolate and cookies, crafts for the kids and taking your picture with Santa! This event is sponsored by Eastchester/Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce.

Winterfest in Depot Square

 Come join The Village of Tuckahoe for Winterfest in Depot Square. The festivities, with music and entertainment, begins on Saturday, Dec.5, from 5-8 p.m. The official Tree Lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. with an appearance by Santa Claus. Caroling by the Tree will be performed by Asbury Summer Theatre. Bring ice skates and meet friends on the skating rink. Food vendors will be selling food. The Winterfest festivities continue on Sunday, Dec. 6 from noon until 5 p.m. Entertainment and food vendors will be present. Hayrides are from noon to 4 p.m. Pictures with Santa are inside the Generoso Pope Foundation from noon to 5 p.m. Bring a camera or cell phone for pictures.
